Summer Jobs For 13 Year Olds
Have you been wondering if your child should have a job? If so, you're right. Statistics show that kids who work develop responsibility faster than those who don't. In addition, it also prepares and helps them to be more successful in their grownup years.
You can search many different places for jobs for your teenagers. All you have to do is to start asking around. And there is no better place than on the internet! Where a teenager can begin making money, there is more growth that occurs as well as much needed experience managing money! Its great that teenagers can start right away!
So the obvious question is what jobs are even available for 13 year olds?
The following list represents a few things that 13 year olds can do now to start working this summer.
Sell Stuff - Does your teenager like to take pictures, do they have clothes they want to get rid of, or make something out of their house? Without any cost, they can post things to sell on Craigslist!
Taking Surveys - Another idea for a teenager (as long as it is with a reputable company)! Why is this? It's simply because there are many people that have seen success with online surveys and you can do the same thing too. Surveys can pay out big. You see there are major companies out there that are willing to pay big cash for your online opinion.
BabySitting Jobs - Everyone knows someone who has kids. Just ask around. Your teenager needs money.. Sometimes people with young children don't know who is available. Making a simple flyer to pass out to neighbors is a great way to let them know that your teenager is ready to work.
Delivering Newspapers - While newspapers are not used as much anymore, there still is a loyal following of newspaper readers... newspaper companies are usually looking for carriers. Just have your 13 year old check with the papers in the area.
